(Pronounced Ruh-shay TAH-rick Ab-dool Hock)

Reche' Tariq Abdul-Haqq, M.Div., is currently a CCSH (Compassion Centered Spiritual Health™) Fellow with Emory Spiritual Health at Winship Midtown and is pursuing board-certification as a chaplain. Tariq earned a Master of Divinity in Islamic Chaplaincy from Bayan Islamic Graduate School at Chicago Theological Seminary, then completed a one-year spiritual health clinician residency at Emory Johns Creek Hospital. His undergraduate degree was a BA in History from Duke University. Prior to chaplaincy, he accomplished a career in pharmaceutical sales leadership, marketing and training. A native of Tampa, Florida, Tariq has been a resident of Georgia and active within the Islamic and interfaith communities in metro Atlanta for the past 20 years. His favorite inspirational quote is “Don’t count the days; make the days count!” (attributed to the late Muhammad Ali, God’s mercy be upon him.)
