Belinda Douglas is a native of Atlanta, Georgia.  She is a CBCT Certified Instructor. She is a Biblical Studies Doctorate holder and Adjunct Professor at Zion International Bible College in Jupiter, Florida. As one of the co-founders of The Compassion Center of Georgia, Inc., and Co-Pastor of Compassion Outreach Ministries in Atlanta, Georgia, she is committed to advancing the practices of her colleagues and ensuring organizational success. Belinda has extensively practiced contemplation, which has enabled her to deepen her spirituality. While in Emory's Clinical Pastoral Education Program, she adopted the Cognitive Based Compassion Training (CBCT) meditation practice and the learning theory based on Compassion-Centered Spiritual Health's integrative model (CCSH). She presently serves as a CCSH Fellow at Emory University Hospital Midtown. After working with CCSH for a couple of years, she aspires to become a registered clinician in this model. Her experiences have honed her skills in providing spiritual care in clinical settings and managing the daily operations of a non-profit organization.
